A more sensible route to a superior gas braai

I’d love to launch a Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign to raise capital for what I believe could be an incredible gas braai.

However, having spent plenty of time researching the crowdfunding space, it’s become clear that those platforms are a nasty, miry pit of skelmgeid.

Not everyone looking for a cash injection is skelm, but it was uncanny how often a crowdfunding venture, upon closer inspection, was nothing more than a con.

I don’t want to put myself in a position where I’m able to con someone, even accidentally.

I think a better option is to offer a handy portable stainless steel braai for sale.

Nothing technical. Just a really sturdy stainless steel braai you can chuck in the back of your car or onto your bakkie, use when you’re out on one of your many adventures, easily clean when you’re back home, and stash for later use.

It must be tough enough to not deteriorate while remaining stashed and unused.

It’s always lekker to go hunting for something you’ve stored for later use, and when you dig it out, it’s still intact. It might be covered in dust, but it’s still in perfect condition.

That’s what a portable braai should be.

When you dig it up for your next camping adventure, it mustn’t fall apart in your hand.

So I think that might be the logical next step.

A tough, portable stainless steel braai that’s easy to clean and store.

Tools like these don’t take up mind space. You don’t think of such a braai.

You just dig it out and use it, like you’re starting your bakkie. You don’t think about it. You put the key in and turn.

A good braai is like a good bakkie (or a Jimny, in my case). The thing just works.
